Hi-Tech Valley iNet gets ISO-9001:2000 certificate

Hi-Tech Valley iNet Pvt Ltd has been the first software company to achieve ISO 9001:2000 certification in Nepal.

A press statement issued here today by the company stated that independent auditing confirmed the status of the company for quality management system ISO 9001:2000.

The quality certificate was awarded for meeting requirements on providing and measuring upto customer satisfaction level, rigorous adherence to a process model closely aligned to business practices, and a process for continual improvement as a required component of the company`s quality management systems (QMS).

As per the independent audit, the company promotes, tracks and enforces quality practices among all employees as it has a software delivery model which formalises solutions development processes and a formal framework through which services are delivered to clients through engagement management model, says the company statement.

"ISO 9001:2000 certification is a proof of Hi-Tech Valley iNet`s commitment to quality," Rajesh Shakya, chief executive officer (CEO) of Hi-Tech Valley iNet was quoted as saying in the press statement.

"It provides independent validation of the rigorous processes we have put in place to increase the satisfaction of our customers and maximise value for all Hi-Tech Valley iNet family," says Shakya.
